(gods in bluemixed-breed demigods in teal…)

Anu divided the responsibilities of rule on Earth among his sons Enlil & Enki:

        The gods had clasped hands together,

        Had cast lots and had divided.

        Anu then went up to Heaven;

        To Enlil the Earth was made subject.

        The seas, enclosed as with a loop,

        They had given to Enki, the Prince of the Earth…”

Another version, Akkadian states:

        “The gods clasped their hands together, then cast lots and divided:

        Anu to heaven went up;

        To Enlil the Earth was made subject;

        That which the sea as a loop encloses, they gave to the prince Enki.

        To the Abzu Enki went down, assumed the rulership of the Abzu..”

The gods had divided up each reign of authority to be controlled by each of the gods of royal blood.

        “They shall then descend to the Exalted Court,

        And shall turn towards the god Anu.

        The Priest of Purification shall libate the Scepter,

        And the Scepter-bearer shall enter and be seated.

        The deities Papsukal, Nusku, and Shala

        Shall then be seated in the court of the god Anu…”

This describes the ceremonial protocol given to the arrival of Anu and spouse, Antu, to his temple on Earth at Uruk. Papsukal, Nuska, and Shala are divine offspring of Anu and Antu. To further celebrate their arrival to Earth:

        “The people of the Land shall light fires in their homes,

        And shall offer banquets to all the gods….

        The guards of the cities shall light fires

        In the streets and in the squares…”

Their departure was an event of celebration as well:

        “On the seventeenth day,

        Forty minutes after sunrise,

        The gate shall be opened before the gods Anu and Antu,

        Bringing to an end their overnight stay….”

        “May the Gods of the Deep,

        And the Gods of the Divine Abode,

        Bless you!

        May they bless you daily—

        Every day of every month of every year!…”

Anu stated:

        “My son Enki has made his temple….

        grow from the ground like a mountain…”

Anu called the meeting to order,

        “and to the Anunnaki thus said:…

        ‘Great gods who had hither come,

        Anunnaki-gods, who to the Court of Assembly had come!

        My son had for himself a House built;

        The lord Enki Eridu like the mountain on Earth he raised;

        His House, in a beautiful place he built.

        To the place, Eridu, no one uninvited can enter…

        In it’s sanctuary, from the Abzu the Divine Formulas Enki has deposited’….”

Akkadian text (the Fable of the Tamarisk and the Datepalm) describes the meeting that had taken place:

        “in long ago days, in far off times…

        The gods of the land, Anu, Enlil and Enki, convened an assembly,

        Enlil and the gods took counsel;

        Among them was seated Shamash (Utu);

        Among them was seated Ninmah (Ninhursag)...”

At that time:

        there was not yet kingship in the land; the rule was held by the gods…”

The first royal city was Kish. The men who were appointed by Enlil to be kings were called LU.GAL, Mighty Man.”

We find the same record in the Old Testament…

        “Kish begat Nimrod;

        He was the first to be a Mighty Man (mixed-breed) in the land…

        And the beginning of his kingship:

        Babel (Babylon) and Erech (Uruk) and Akkad (Akkadia),

        all in the land of Shin’ar (Sumer)…”

The Bible text named the first three capitols as Kish, Babylon, and Erech

        Anu is leaving,…” the priests chanted;

        Anu, great king of Heaven and Earth, we ask for your blessing,…”

after…blessings, the procession wound its way down the “Street of the Gods” to the

        “Place of the barque of Anu...”

        “Great Anu, may Heaven and Earth bless you!

        May the gods Enlil, Ea (Enki) and Ninhursag bless you!

        May the gods Sin (Nannar) and Shamash (Utu) bless you…

        May the gods Nergal and Ninurta bless you…

        May the Igigi who are in heaven

        and the Anunnaki who are on Earth, bless you!

        May the gods of the Abzu

        and the gods of the holy land bless you!…”

And then Anu and Antu took off to the Spaceport…

Anu Hittite Quotes From Sitchin Books

A historic Hittite epic tale entitled: Kingship in Heaven

        “Let there listen the gods who are in Heaven,

        And those who are upon the dark-hued Earth!

        Let there listen, the mighty olden gods.

        Formerly, in the olden days, Alula was king in Heaven;

        He, Alula, was seated on the throne.

        Mighty Anu, the first among the gods, stood before him,

        Bowed at his feet, set the drinking cup in his hand.

        For nine counted periods, Alula was king in Heaven.

        In the ninth period, Anu gave battle against Alula.

        Alula was defeated, he fled before Anu

        He descended to the dark-hued Earth.

        Down to the dark-hued Earth he went;

        On the throne sat Anu…”

after nine Nibiruan years, Anu (Anush in the Hittite text)gave battle to Alaluand deposed him:

        “Once in the olden days, Alalush (Alalu) was king in heaven.

        Alalush was seated on the throne;

        The mighty Anush (Anu), first among gods, was standing before him:

        He would bow to his feet, set the drinking cup in his hand.

        For nine counted periods, Alalush was king in Heaven.

        In the ninth counted period, Anush gave battle to Alalush…”

It was then, the ancient text tells us, that the dramatic flight to Earth had occurred:

        “Alalush was defeated, he fled before Anush

        Down he descended to the dark-hued Earth.

        Anush took his seat upon the throne…”
